Sobre mí y mi experiencia

Hola, soy Xabier Tuñón, todos me llaman Xabi.

Desde pequeño soñaba con conectar con las personas y ayudarlas a resolver problemas, sobre todo aquellos que a la mayoría no le interesaban. Siempre he tenido una habilidad natural para buscar acuerdos y generar entornos de confianza donde todos puedan sentirse bien.

Mi carrera empezó como topógrafo en Guipúzcoa, lidiando con obras, lluvia y mediciones milimétricas, donde aprendí el valor de la precisión, la resolución y el trabajo en equipo. Más tarde, me incorporé a proyectos de urbanismo y obra civil, y después me trasladé a Navarra, donde participé en el diseño de espacios y obras singulares en un estudio de arquitectura.

Hubo un momento en el que intenté profesionalizar otra de mis pasiones: la música. Formaba parte de una banda de pop-rock (Mr. Fylyn), ganamos un concurso regional y me presenté al Conservatorio de Jazz en Pamplona. Aunque no entré, esa etapa fue crucial: me empujó a descubrir el mundo de la gestión energética, un campo donde empecé optimizando tarifas eléctricas en la empresa de mi suegro, incluso cuando el mercado seguía regulado.

Pasé también por estudios de estructuras especiales, geotecnia y cálculo técnico, pero fue finalmente en 2011 cuando fundé junto a mi hermana Izaskun la empresa que hoy lideramos: IXATU Estrategias Energéticas. Lo que comenzó con noches analizando el BOE se convirtió en una estructura sólida desde donde asesoramos a empresas en la compra de energía, optimización tarifaria y eficiencia operativa.

A lo largo de los años hemos formado equipo, hemos sobrevivido a ciclos regulatorios y seguimos manteniendo la ilusión del primer día. El camino ha sido largo: desde mi primer trabajo técnico en 2001, pasando por fábricas de Oiartzun, recogidas de patatas en la Ribera en 1995, hasta hoy, donde el propósito se ha ido aclarando.

Mi meta en este proyecto personal es sencilla y a la vez compleja: aportar luz y calor a cada proyecto, generando confianza, claridad y resultados tangibles.

Mi forma de trabajar combina claridad estratégica con una presencia cercana. Lo llamo luz y calor.
